Monroeville

I began my career working with children 20 years ago, right after I graduated from high school.  First, I received a Bachelor’s in Psychology at the University of Pitt at Greensburg and then a Masters in Arts of Teaching from Chatham University.  I immediately began teaching preschool children at a child care center after receiving my master’s degree.  At that time when I was teaching preschool, I began helping in the office and eventually became the director of that child care center.  After 5 years, I needed a change and interviewed with Tender Care.  I began my journey with Tender Care Learning Center in Monroeville in February 2012 and have not looked back since.  I have loved every minute of it whether it be interacting with all the families, the energy the children bring to the school daily or the bonds I have created with many colleagues.  In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, instructing with the Golden Triangles (a performance ensemble in the Pittsburgh Area that incorporates dance, baton and flag), and enjoying a good concert now and then.
